Nia and the
Brain Bunch
A colorful journey through the feelings our brains bring to life.

Reading age: 5–11 years
Available through selected booksellers:
A big day. A whole world of feelings.
Nia is getting ready for show-and-tell. From morning excitement to nervous moments, her day becomes a way for young readers to explore what happens inside their brains.
Through familiar experiences and colorful characters, the story connects emotions with science and reminds children that it’s normal to feel many things in a single day.
What the book hopes to do
With Nia and the Brain Bunch, Saanvi hopes to make learning more accessible, meaningful, and connected to service. The story helps children understand their emotions and the science behind them while building curiosity, confidence, kindness, and empathy.
What young readers explore
- How neurotransmitters work: The friendly “Brain Bunch” introduces children to the chemical messengers that help shape feelings and responses.
- How to understand emotions: Nia’s experiences show that feeling happy, nervous, scared, or excited is normal, and that several emotions can occur at the same time.
- How to respond with curiosity and kindness: The story encourages children to become more aware of themselves, ask questions, and approach their feelings with patience and compassion.
From readers to community
The book has generated more than $3,000 in revenue, with proceeds supporting New Hope Community, Inc. This milestone connects literacy, emotional education, and service while supporting people with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
Saanvi’s purpose is to use the book as a platform for giving while helping children develop self-awareness, empathy, and confidence.
Copies have reached local schools for classroom use, and placement in town libraries and community reading activities helps the book become a shared resource for children, families, and educators.
